More than 500 custom homes surround Fox Den County Club and Fox Den Golf Course. This lovely neighborhood dates from the late 1960's when Chester Massey, Jim Ferguson, J B Lambert, and others created the development known as Fox Den Village. This was one of the first planned neighborhoods in the community now known as Farragut.
Beautiful tree lined lanes, pristine ponds, and a number of cul-de-sac settings are features of the neighborhood. A majority of the existing homes were built during the 1970's and 1980's. Today, there are recreations of the original homes plus new custom homes. Single family homes ranging from the mid $ 200,000s to more than a million dollars line the golf course. Additionally, there are a number of villas and townhouses within the village. Architectural styles are as varied as the price range.
As mentioned previously, the county club and its amenities are the center of activity within the area. The present 34,000 sq ft club house was built in 1995. The well planned complex includes seven tennis courts [5 clay and 2 lighted deco turf hard surfaces], 18 hole championship golf course, junior Olympic swimming pool, fitness center, dining and meeting facilities. This family centered facility includes a children’s pool, 1 to 3 foot depth.
There are several large parks with soccer fields, ball parks, tennis courts, splash parks, and, of course, several marinas located a few minutes from Fox Den.
Shopping, medical facilities, and dining options are unlimited to the residents of Fox Den. Both private and public education options are within a few minutes’ drive.
For convenience, Interstate 40 and 75 are a short distance to the North.
